Holy shit, this just happened.
Monstrous Media Group LLC has been officially named to Inc. Magazine’s 2025 Power Partners list, recognized as one of the best digital agencies in the country.
When I rebuilt MMG, it wasn’t out of luck or timing. It was out of grit. OMG had just come off a collapsed M&A deal that left dozens of agency owners stranded. Most never recovered. Instead of folding, we rewired.
I formatively burnt OMG to the ground, leaving only ashes. The business, the plans, the momentum, all of it collapsed. Truth is, I burnt myself to the ground too. And instead of pretending it didn’t hurt, I owned it.
I took a hard look at who I was, what I stood for, and what I had built. I came to terms with the losses, some my own doing and some driven by bad influences or plain bad luck, and with the hard lessons that come when everything falls apart.
Luckily, I had an army of fighters who were watching the entire time and stepped out of the shadows to defend and fight. In the darkest days, they lifted me back up. That was not only new, but, extremely hard for me. I’ve always been the provider, the caretaker, the one serving others.
Then I did the only thing I knew how to do. I cut my losses and separated from everything that no longer served me, associates, customers, even friends I once considered family. I started over. No shortcuts. No ego. No victim mindset.
Forgive, forget, move forward. Internally, at MMG, we refer to it as “Bless and Release.”
I rethought everything: how we serve, how we automate, how we grow. We stopped chasing projects and focused on building partnerships. Real ones. The kind where clients treat us like an integral part of their business, not just a vendor.
That shift changed everything. I was able to burn down the old and reinvent the new. I built my own AI systems, integrating xAi, OpenAI, Google AI Studio, and Claude into a unified platform called MonstrousAI. I automated our sales and client onboarding processes, creating repeatable models for every part of the business. I trained our team to master these new tools and positioned MMG to capture the AI shift already transforming the agency world.
This recognition from Inc. isn’t about press. It’s validation that resilience pays off. That an Omaha-based agency can make national noise by focusing on relationships, automation, and results that actually matter.
To our clients, partners, and the MMG crew, you made this possible.
Next up: expanding MonsterWP, scaling our AI automation stack, and continuing to redefine what a digital agency looks like in this new era of intelligent marketing.
Started from the bottom, now we’re here.
